ESPN Deportes fills sports schedule with football

ESPN Deportes will fill its sports schedules with soccer and American football, covering the Balon d'Or and the College Play-off National Championship.
balon de oroTargeting the Spanish-speaking community in the US, ESPN Deportes will offer the exclusive coverage of FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015 from today (11 January), in which two Latin American players, Messi and Neymar (both from FC Barcelona), and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), will fight for the award.
ESPN Deportes' soccer experts will join the event on-site to offer unique content around the award ceremony, and the Fuera de Juego show will present a live red carpet special leading up to the event.
In addition, online coverage will be available on WatchESPN and on ESPN's websites and social network sites.
Following the gala, ESPN Deportes will deliver live coverage of the College Football Play-off National Championship featuring Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Clemson Tigers.
The Spanish-language telecast will be led by College Football experts reporting from the field, and fans can follow the up-to-the-minute news and information on social media and join in the conversation using the hashtag #CollegeFootballxESPN.
