Ultra HD Forum confirms speakers for European Digital conference

Over 40 speakers and the presentation of new UHD guidelines have now been confirmed for the European Digital Forum has announced that its flagship event in 2016 in Lucca.
Running on 9-10 June, the conference will feature what are claimed to be some of the industry's leading experts and the best international broadcasters, content producers, distribution platforms, and consumer electronics companies.
Among the standouts will be the first European Conference from the Ultra HD Forum, the leading global organisation based in the United States, which brings together the leading companies in the TV, film, media and production spheres. In Lucca the forum will set out a broad set of guidelines for the implementation of new technologies such wide colour gamut (WCG), high dynamic range (HDR) High Frame Rate (HFR) and the new generation audio (NGA).

It will also explore new issues such as new measurement of audience on digital platforms and new immersive experiences in production, including virtual reality.
Other workshops will focus on streaming video and digital production, 4K technology, new shooting and editing tools, remote control and new content distribution lines.
