Sony ESPN to televise ATP events

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) will broadcast the ATP 500 Citi Open in Washington from 19 July, followed by the ATP 1000 Rogers Cup in Toronto from 25 July.
sonypiclogoThe men’s professional tennis tournaments will be aired exclusively in India on Sony ESPN channels.
The tournaments will see a host of top ranked sports John Isner, Tomas Berdych, Grigor Dimitrov, Nick Kyrgios, Stan Wawrinka, Kei Nishikori, Marin Cilic and newly crowned Wimbledon champion, Andy Murray.
SPN channels Sony Max, Sony Six and Sony ESPN have recently concluded IPL cricket, having acted as official broadcaster for the T20 tournament. This deal, the company says, ‘reinforces its focus on tennis, one of the most followed sports in the world’, adding tennis fans in India can now look forward to seeing the world’s top ranked male players.
