CJ E&M America launches new short form online video destination

The producer and organiser of the KCON K-pop and Hallyu fan festival, CJ E&M America, has taken the wraps off a new short form video platform and online community dedicated to Korean entertainment.
kcom 31 July 2016 KCON 2016 LA features three days of festivities and two nights of concerts that are expected to attract tens of thousands of fans from all across the country and beyond. The KCON.TV online video service is designed to brings KCON directly to those who either cannot personally be in attendance, or to fans who want to experience the festival and its related content on demand year-round. KCON will also be live streaming on Facebook Live.
The live streaming coverage will be hosted from the KCON.TV Stage by YouTube creators BapMokja and Haeppy from DIA TV. Other live programming highlights include the premiere of KCON.TV original content video with K-pop choreographer Lia Kim from 1MILLION Dance Studios, which boasts 2.5 million YouTube subscribers.
