Jörn Krieger | 20-12-2013
Adrian von Hammerstein will resign from his position as CEO of German cable operator Kabel Deutschland on 31 March 2014. Manuel Cubero, currently chief operating officer and deputy CEO, will succeed him as the new CEO on 1 April 2014.
Also effective 1 April 2014, Gerhard Mack, currently director of the group's technical operations, will join the management board as the new COO.
"Kabel Deutschland is very well positioned in the market. Following the takeover by Vodafone, the company is now set to enter into a new and exciting phase of its development. This is the right time for a successful management transition," said von Hammerstein. "I am pleased - and it underlines the strength of our management team - that both Manuel Cubero and Gerhard Mack come from inside the company."
