Israel's yes joins MoCA Alliance

Israel's main satellite TV service provider, yes, has joined the MoCA Alliance as an associate member.

Yes, with more than 40% of Israel's multichannel television market, is expanding its home networking services with the integration of MoCA technology.

"Yes points to the significance the MoCA technology standard can provide to forward-looking service providers on every continent," said Charles Cerino, MoCA president. "We welcome yes to the Alliance and look forward to their insights and contributions toward reinforcing the Alliance a truly global standard."

In 2011 yes launched its yes Streamer service, allowing viewers to watch personal content from their computers on their television screens. In 2013, the company launched its multi-room service which enables a recording from the living room to be viewed from any room in the house. In addition, yes launched its MyTV service which provides personalised recommendations based on viewing habits and also enables smart browsing of the programme guides and VOD catalogue.

In May 2014, the satellite company launched the game-changing yesGO service providing around 50 of its leading channels and thousands of titles on VOD within a TV everywhere offering.
