Telco TV and end-to-end video entertainment provider Netgem has revealed that it has now secured a total of 29 additional content partnerships throughout 2015.
Netgem now has 50 partners. Over the year Netgem has signed a number of high profile agreements, including MUBI and Now TV. Most recently it signed an agreement with Globecast to provide My Polish TV and Telefrance in the UK that both launched on 26 November. Recent deals have included an online TV streaming solution with Simplestream to provide the company’s TV Player Plus service and an agreement with global media solutions provider Globecast to provide My Polish TV and Telefrance in the UK.
Netgem believes that by securing these partnerships it can ensure that operators are able to deliver a compelling TV and entertainment service offering to their customers, giving them a distinct advantage over their competitors.
“The triple/quad-play telecoms market is an incredibly competitive space, with a range of service providers competing hard to maintain revenue streams and gain new customers,” said Sylvain Thevenot, MD of Netgem TV PVX. “By signing agreements with leading content providers on our #TelcoTV platform, we are enabling telcos to save both in terms of cost and time-to-market as they deploy engaging TV services to their customers.
