Zig Zag seals US programme sale

Leading UK indie Zig Zag Productions has announced a new licensing acquisition deal with Z Living for the company’s health and lifestyle format Change the Day You Die.
zigzqag 25 June 2016Originally produced for Sky One, the 7 x 60’ series examines ordinary people with unhealthy lifestyles and reveals just how many years of life they may be throwing away. With the assistance of life coaches and nutritionists the format series predicts the day that each individual will die if they persist with their current lifestyle.
US health and wellness network Z Living will premiere the 7 x 60’ series in July 2016. Zig Zag is also currently in negotiations to develop the show format for the US market.
Headquartered in London, Zig Zag has produced over 650 hours of original programming for over 50 broadcasters worldwide since its inception in 1999, across multiple programme genres including, factual, observational documentaries, factual entertainment, entertainment, game shows, cookery, sports and news reactive programming.
Its programmes and formats have been sold separately to over one hundred countries worldwide and in the UK produces for all the main channels; BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, MTV as well as multiple other cable and satellite channels. In the USA, Zig Zag produces for Fox, Discovery, TLC, Travel, National Geographic Channel, A&E, Fuse, History, OWN, PBS, SyFy and Current TV.
