VH1 announces refreshed line-up for July

Viacom18’s music channel VH1 is planning to showcase a mid-year compilation of its Top 50 videos of 2016 as part of its new programming line-up for India.
Viacom18 logoThe year’s biggest hits – including songs from Rihanna, Zayn and Coldplay – will be battling out for top spot in the VH1 Top 50 on 10 July at 12pm and 7pm.
Awesome Afternoons, aired every Monday to Friday beginning at 3pm, will include international hits including Bad Blood by Taylor Swift and Hotline Bling by Drake. VH1 Trending, meanwhile, brings viewers the best of India with the hottest releases every Tuesday at 8pm.
VH1 Pop Profiles, on Saturdays at 10pm, will chart the career of a number of stars, from their early performances to breakthrough singles, concerts, and major label success. While the latest news and updates from the world of Hip Hop will be available on Hip Hop Hustle from Monday to Friday at 6.30pm.
“The new line-up aims at offering a wholesome viewing experience to our viewers and fans alike! There’s something for everyone. We’re excited to put out these additions and we’re sure viewers will like the varied programming offered to them,” said Hashim D’Souza, head, programming English entertainment, Viacom18.
