Canal+ is to exit Maker Studios after the full takeover of the online content provider by Disney Studios was announced last week.
The French pay-TV group acquired 3% of the network in August 2013 for under €10 million, and the move give the group a return of €14.5 million.
Created in 2009, Maker Studios is one of the biggest YouTube content providers.
In early March, Canal+ announced the acquisition of the YouTube popular comedy channel Studio Bagel.
