Cartoon Network claims LATAM audiences

Turner’s Cartoon Network has been the most watched pay-TV channel among Latin American kids, leading also cable audiences in the region’s key markets.
cartoon network latAccording to Kantar IBOPE Media figures, delivered by the channel, Cartoon Network has been leading kids’ ratings for 29 consecutive months in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. Besides, it has reached high ratings among general cable TV audiences.
“There is passion for Cartoon Network. We work hard for bringing an innovative entertainment experience to our fans, adapted to every platform,” pointed out Pablo Zuccarino, VP, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast, Latin America.
Aiming to increase engagement with young audiences, Cartoon Network has premiered several series along with mobile and social strategies since the beginning of the year. For instance, Las Chicas Superpoderosas (The Powerpuff Girls) has seen the launch of a multiplatform app, an action game, an avatar platforms and different live shows.
The channels have also continued with its on-demand show on YouTube, launched in 2015, and has bet on CN Anything, a platform for mobile and connected devices delivering short formats.
